As of August 24th 2022, Premium Service/Automatic Commercial Skip is no longer available for purchase.
Please note this article only refers to legacy Tablo products, as the 4th Generation Tablo does not require a subscription and does not support Automatic Commercial Skip.
Tablo's Premium Service is an optional paid add-on for legacy Tablo owners with active Tablo TV guide data service subscriptions that provides access to the Automatic Commercial Skip feature.
When Automatic Commercial Skip is enabled, the majority of completed recordings will play back without ads on our most popular legacy apps used with network-connected Tablo DVRs and in the interface of TV-connected Tablo DVRs like the Tablo DUAL HDMI and Tablo QUAD HDMI.
Like Tablo TV guide data service subscriptions, Tablo Premium Service is tied to your account, not a specific device. This means you can change or upgrade to a new legacy Tablo DVR and easily transfer your existing Premium Service subscription to your new legacy device. Each DVR on your account that will be using Premium Service must have its own subscription.
As of August 23rd 2022, customers will not be able to re-subscribe to Premium Service once it has been canceled.

If you are a monthly Premium Service subscriber, you will be billed monthly on your current TV guide service billing date. The first month's charge for Premium Service will be prorated.
If you are an annual subscriber, you will be billed immediately for the Premium Service add-on, prorated according to your current TV guide data billing date. It will renew at the full amount on an annual basis.
If you have a Lifetime Tablo TV Guide Data Service subscription, you will be billed immediately for the full amount of the annual Premium Service add-on and it will renew on an annual basis.
If your subscription payment fails, please ensure your Tablo account zip/postal and credit card zip/postal match and/or that your bank does not automatically block international transactions.
