This article contains instructions for connecting legacy Tablo DVRs to Wi-Fi using the legacy Tablo web app. This app and method is not supported on the 4th Generation Tablo. You can find information on the 4th Generation Android Wi-Fi setup, here, and the iOS Wi-Fi setup, here.

NOTE - Legacy Tablo apps are no longer available for download. Many of the underlying technologies used by legacy Tablo apps and services are becoming obsolete and are no longer maintainable. Support was discontinued for all legacy Tablo apps on September 1st, 2026.

Unlike other major app stores, Roku does not permit apps to be delisted while remaining active for existing users. As such, the Roku app will continue to be available for download but won't be maintained or updated.

The web app (my.tablotv.com) will also continue to be available but will also not be maintained or updated.

If you have a network-connected legacy Tablo model and have not completed the Legacy Transition steps, we urge you to do so and begin using the newer 4th Generation Tablo apps. These apps are built on modern technology, are easier to maintain and will receive ongoing updates.

Once you've taken your Tablo out of the box and attached the power, antenna and hard drive, you are ready to set up Tablo via Wi-Fi.

Begin by opening your Firefox browser and navigating to the web app.

Chrome and Edge are not supported.

You'll be taken to the main CONNECT TO TABLO screen. Select ADD VIA WI-FI

The next screen will instruct you to connect to your Tablo’s network. Navigate to your computer's list of available networks, usually near the bottom right corner of the screen on the toolbar.

Your Tablo will appear in the Wi-Fi list. To connect to your Tablo's Wi-Fi network, select it from said list.
