Tablo Total System Antenna Q&A
How do I install the Total System antenna?
Our iOS and Android Mobile apps will walk you through setting up your Total System antenna.
Should I remove the plastic film from the outside of the Tablo Total System antenna?
Once the antenna is in your hands, its protective film has served its purpose. Remove and discard it.
The Tablo Total System antenna has a white and a black side. Which side should face the broadcast towers?
There is no 'correct' side to face your local broadcast towers. The white and black options allow you to choose the side that matches your decor.
Does the antenna included in the Tablo Total System come with mounting hardware?
Yes, you'll find adhesive strips and cable management hooks. Consider completing the initial setup of your Tablo before using the strips to secure the antenna in case it needs to be moved to improve reception. Once you have confirmed your TV antenna is in optimal location, use the strips freely, as they won't block broadcast signals.
Why is the coaxial cable included with the Tablo Total System's antenna so rigid?
RG6 coaxial cable is fairly rigid as it uses a heavier gauge wire core for better signal transfer and includes additional insulation and shielding to prevent interference. While this makes the cable harder to bend, it offers better performance and will last longer than more flexible, lower-quality coaxial cabling. Avoid overbending the cable during installation. The included cable management hooks should help guide it to your Tablo.
