Your Tablo’s location is set during initial setup of your device.
This location is used to match the local channels you receive during a channel scan with TV guide data for your area. In most cases, this is a setting you'll never have to change.
However, if you move to a new city or take your Tablo to a vacation spot with its own TV antenna and internet, you'll have to change or edit your location.
Here’s how:
1. Open the 4th Generation Tablo app on your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet. This setting cannot be changed from a TV-based app.
2. Go to SETTINGS->GUIDE -> LOCATION.
3. Then SELECT NEW LOCATION.
4. Enter your 5-digit ZIP code and select SUBMIT.
5. Run and save a new a Channel Scan. Without this step, your location will not be updated.
Accessing the Location Setting From TV-Based Apps
As mentioned, changing or editing your location on your Tablo device can only be done via mobile apps.
If you visit SETTINGS -> GUIDE -> LOCATION in a TV-based Tablo app, a QR code will be displayed which, when scanned, will direct you to the instructions above.
