If you would like to add a second Tablo to your home network here are a few tips and tricks that will help.

We recommend that you rename your current Tablo before starting the setup of your second Tablo. This will ensure you will be able to tell which Tablo is which when they are both connected to the network. Here is how you do this using different 4th Generation Tablo apps:

iPhone or iPad: Navigate to settings on the top right-hand corner of your screen.

Then scroll down to the 'ABOUT' section, and select 'NAME'.

You'll then be able to type in a new name for your Tablo. This can be anything you want. When you are done, select 'SAVE'.

Android phone or Tablet: Navigate to settings on the top right-hand corner of your screen.

Then scroll down to the 'ABOUT' section and select 'EDIT TABLO NAME'.

Splitting your antenna signal can reduce signal strength

Connecting a second Tablo to the same TV antenna using a splitter will result in a significant loss of signal strength. Tablo 4th Generation has a built-in 10dB amplifier that is on by default. This can help mitigate the signal loss. However, it is still possible to experience reception problems on some stations after splitting the signal.

Setting up your new Tablo

To set up your new Tablo, open the Tablo app on your mobile phone. Select the the profile icon on the top right of your screen.

iPad, iPhones, Android Phones, and Tablets: Select the profile icon on the top right of the Tablo app. Both of your Tablos will be listed, select the one you wish to connect to.
