Have you ever wondered what your Tablo was trying to tell you when the LED blinks? Here's a quick guide:
- Blue Blinking rapidly (4/sec) – Tablo is starting up, initial phase (OS is loading)
- Blue Blinking slowly (1/sec) – Tablo is trying to connect to your network. If your Tablo's LED blinks once per second for 5+ minutes, reboot the unit if it has already been set up. If your Tablo has not been previously been added to your Wi-Fi network, complete Wi-Fi setup or connect an Ethernet cable to your Tablo.
- Blue SOS (three short flashes, three long flashes, three short flashes) – Tablo software is unable to start. Power cycle the unit
- Blue Solid – Tablo is on, connected to your network and the Tablo's LED setting is On. No further network setup is required, you should be able to connect to your Tablo from your devices as long as they are on the same network.
- Off – Either Tablo has no power (unplugged) or Tablo is on and your LED setting is off
- White Flashing (4th Generation Tablo only) - The unit is on your network but cannot connect with to the internet. If this lasts for longer than 2-3 minutes, reboot your Tablo by tapping its reset button.
- White and Solid (4th Generation Tablo Only - The unit cannot find the router it was originally connected to. If this lasts for longer than 2-3 minutes, reboot your Tablo by tapping its reset button. If this persist, try rebooting your router. If using Ethernet, troubleshoot this by replacing the Ethernet cable and/or moving to cable to a different port on your router. If using Wi-Fi, see here for help.
Note: The 4th generation Tablo's LED will blink white after a firmware update until the unit has checked into our server.
