How to Enable Push Notifications
When you first open the latest version of the 4th Generation Tablo app on your iPhone or iPad, you’ll see a prompt to ENABLE NOTIFICATIONS.
If you select YES, a second system-level prompt will appear. When you select ALLOW, you will be able to receive Push Notification banners on your device’s Notification Center screen.
You can adjust the appearance of the notifications within your device’s system settings. On iOS, go to SETTINGS > NOTIFICATIONS > TABLO.
If at any time you would like to disable notifications, you can do so from the SETTINGS screen in the Tablo app, by going to SETTINGS > NOTIFICATIONS and selecting OFF. If you did not initially enable notifications, selecting ON will allow you to enable them.
However, even if you don’t enable Push Notifications, you will still receive messages in the Message Center screen in the Tablo app, but you won’t receive a device notification when a Message Center message is received.
About the Tablo App’s Message Center
In the top right of the home screen of the Tablo app, you will see a bell icon next to the SETTINGS and PROFILE icons.
When a new message is available, a red badge with the number of unread new messages will appear on the bell icon.
Selecting it will bring you to the Message Center, where you can view and manage both new and previously received messages.
Selecting the message in the Message Center will provide additional details and links if required.
Updates sent to the Message Center will be received even if you have chosen to disable Push Notifications for your Tablo app.
