How Do I Delete My 4th Gen Tablo Account?

A 4th Gen Tablo account is required to use a 4th Generation Tablo DVR. It registers your Tablo to our servers, which ensures proper TV Guide Data and record scheduling. If you delete your 4th Generation account without making a new one to replace it, your 4th Generation Tablo will not be reachable.

4th Generation Tablo accounts are different from legacy TV Guide Data and Premium accounts, especially in that, 4th Gen Tablo accounts are free of charge.

Deleting your 4th Generation account requires our agents to remove it from our servers. To request an account deletion, fill in a request form and our support team will process the request. The account will be deleted and you can expect a response in within 48 hours. Be sure to include the email address you registered this account with. Our agents may ask you to respond from this email address to confirm ownership of the account. 

If you simply wish to set up a new account under a different name and email address, it's absolutely fine to do so. Simply redo the account setup steps

 

You can set up the  deletion your 4th Generation Tablo account via the iOS 4th Generation Tablo app. To do so, navigate to the User Profile Settings by tapping the user icon on the top right corner of the screen.

Select DELETE ACCOUNT. You will be taken to this ticket request form to request your 4th Gen Tablo account for deletion.
