A 4th Gen Tablo account is required to use a 4th Generation Tablo DVR. It registers your Tablo to our servers, which ensures proper TV guide data and record scheduling. If you delete your 4th Generation account without making a new one to replace it, your 4th Generation Tablo will not be reachable.
4th Generation Tablo accounts are different from legacy TV guide data and Premium accounts, especially in that 4th Gen Tablo accounts have no subscription fee.
Deleting your 4th Generation account requires our agents to remove it from our servers. To request an account deletion, fill out a request form and our support team will process it. The account will be deleted and you can expect a response within 48 hours. Be sure to include the email address you registered this account with. Our agents may ask you to reply from this address to confirm ownership of the account.
If you wish to set up a new account under a different name and email address, it's absolutely fine to do so. Simply redo the account setup steps.
You can set up the deletion of your 4th Generation Tablo account via the iOS or Android Mobile 4th Generation Tablo apps. To do so, navigate to the User Profile Settings by tapping the user icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Select Delete Account. You will be taken to this ticket request form to request the deletion of your 4th Gen Tablo account.
