The Tablo app is available on the Google Play Store for download. If you download the Tablo app using an Android tablet or smartphone, you will receive the mobile version of the application. If the Tablo app is downloaded using an authorized Android TV device, the Android TV version of the Tablo app will be downloaded.
In order to be considered an official Android TV device, manufacturers must have their devices tested by Google's Certification process. This allows the device to receive Android TV applications, like Tablo. Tablo officially supports the following Android TV devices:
- Nvidia Shield
- Chromecast with Google TV
